The Graduate is an interesting take on the struggles that many graduating seniors experience. Benjamin's feelings and worries are relatable. In the end, Ben makes his decision to stop Elaine's marriage without thinking of the consequences. Perhaps it hit close to home, I was not able to see the film with an open mind. The conclusion, I felt is a bit rushed or hard to believe, from a student's perspective. As we see in the film, Ben's decisions are not as ridiculous to him as they are to others. For example, when he decides to marry Elaine without even dating her or having asked her. Overall, I enjoyed the music selection because each song complements the scene in the film.
